“Where can you reduce clutter in your life?“
This prompt is very interesting to me, because of what I’m going through right now. I’m currently dealing with my apartment trying to evict me and my car potentially being taken away.
Sometimes you don’t choose to release and let go. People and forces outside of your control make the choice for you. I’m currently selling as much as I can from my apartment to make more money and empty my apartment. I just want to keep a roof over my head and be able to take myself wherever I need. If anyone reading this lives in Austin, Texas comment or fill out the contact form if you are interested in some secondhand furniture.
In terms of specific items, I can definitely reduce my stationary and crafting supplies. I have so much that I’ve bought over the year, and I haven’t used it much. I do suspect it’s my undiagnosed ADHD that helps me jump from interest to interest. I’ve been a minimalist for years and yet I still find myself overwhelmed by things. It’s usually little things that stack up and up and up.

I hope future me comes back to this with an update for everyone who did decide to come read. I do the best I can and lean into what my intuition tells me. But yes, minimizing what you purchase and keeping track of what you use regularly helps so much.
Decluttering digital files also helps a lot. Deleting photos that you don’t need or want to remember, deleting voicemails from people that aren’t in your life anymore. You don’t need to keep receipts “just in case” you need to prove to someone what you went through or experienced.
