Foods I want to make

As someone who loves food, but happens to be vegan, this is going to be a decent list. I’ve been on a plant-based diet for several years now and have learned that most recipes and cuisines have fully vegan dishes available. Or there are substitutions that can be easily made, to make them stay delicious and be almost unchanged flavor or texture wise.

Baked Goods

Baked goods are one of the types of foods I want to make. Loaves of bread, garlic knots, brownies, scallion pancakes, and so many more. I have half the ingredients in my kitchen already, so I suppose the only things stopping me are my bank account.. and myself.

Tofu

There are these tofu recipes that I have seen recently when scrolling YouTube shorts, and I love tofu. It’s one of the most popular forms of proteins for vegetarians and vegans. While most people talk about it being flavorless or a weird texture, I’m one of many that love the versatility that comes from it being ‘flavorless’. I watched a YouTube video from Immy Lucas where it was only tofu recipes and they all looked so good! She included a document in the description of the video that has all the recipes and instructions which I hope you all check out as well as her video. Fried tofu, salt and pepper tofu, chocolate mousse made from silken tofu, and more!

Now, there are a few recipes and dishes that I have already made that I would like to make again. And again and again. Baked pasta, vegan fried rice, soba noodles, chili, and other random experiments from my kitchen. Don’t worry, I’ll be posting some easy recipes from my camera roll soon for those who are curious.

What are some foods that you want to cook or bake? Anything you want to avoid having to make again? Ya local gremlin is curious and would love to read any kitchen and cooking stories you have to share~
